The Music Production course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of music production techniques using Daws like Apple Logic Pro, Ableton, Protools etc. The course will cover everything from basic concepts to advanced techniques, enabling students to create professional-quality music across various genres.

Week 3: Level 1 - Beginner to Intermediate( DAW Training) 

Week 4: Recording Audio and MIDI

Week 5: Editing and Arranging

Week 6: Music Theory and MIDI Editing

Week 7: Sound Design and Synthesis -1 

Week 8: Sound Design & Synthesis - 2

Week 9:  Famous Synthesizers 

Week 10: Producing a Track ( Fundamentals) 

Week 11: Vocal Production and Processing

Week 12: Music Production Project 

Week 13: Mixing,  Mastering and Exporting

Week 14 - Week 20 - Project Work 

Prerequisites: No prior music production experience is required, but a basic understanding of music and digital audio concepts will be beneficial.

Course Materials:

• For Logic Pro software (students must have access to a Mac computer with DAW  installed)

• For Reaper/Ableton/Protools  you can have either windows or Mac. 

• Additional audio samples and loops for practice

• Reading Material in the form of Ebooks

Assessment and Grading:

• Class participation and engagement

• Completion of practical assignments and projects

• Final music production project evaluation

By the end of this Music Production course, students will have a solid foundation in using DAW to create their music, from recording and arranging to mixing and mastering. They will be equipped to pursue their music production journey independently or advance to more specialised areas within the field.
